1. Printing on clay (for images go to EXTRAS)
10 students, 4-5 days:
- printing of patterns, text and pictures onto clay
- simple monoprinting methods
- using laser and inkjet printers, photocopy machines
- the preparation and application of decals
- suitable for all types of clay
- for raw clay, bisque, and glazed surfaces
- experiment, correct mistakes, collect ideas
- documentation on methods, materials and firing
- further free and friendly advice after the course.
2. Monotyping times three
10 students, 3 days:
- drawing etc. by hand on a paper cliché
- decorating clichés with a laser printer/copy machine
- transfer of colour to clay with transparencies as cliché
- printing onto moist, bisque and glazed clay surfaces
- experiment, correct mistakes, collect ideas
- documentation on methods, materials and firing
- further free and friendly advice after the course.
